Our Story

Debra and Cole have worked together closely for decades, having served together on three non-profit industry organizations’ boards of directors, including the American Factoring Association since 2009, where they both still serve today.
Our founders have built and sold multiple successful ventures in the financial sector. Cole started State Bank’s (Austin, Texas) AR Factoring and ABL business in 1996, which sold in 2006. In 2007, Cole co-founded Far West Capital, which sold in 2018. Debra was president and chief credit officer of Vertex Financial, Inc., for 17 years, which sold in 2014, and has worked in leadership positions in commercial finance since she was 18 years old.
In 2019, Debra and Cole teamed up to purchase a portfolio of clients and launched DARE with a revolutionary vision: transforming how factoring partnerships work through our groundbreaking BRS (Backroom Services) program. What began with $500,000 in BRS accounts has exploded into our fastest growing division.
Unlike traditional factoring models where brokers fight for 10-15% commissions, our BRS partners enjoy true 50% ownership of every deal they bring. This fundamental shift from commission to ownership is reshaping the entire industry. Our partners build transferable wealth while we handle all operations, underwriting, funding and collections.

We’ve also established ourselves as specialists in construction factoring, an area most competitors avoid. Our expertise in managing complex payment structures, compliance requirements, and risk management has made us the go-to partner for subcontractors handling projects up to $7 million.

Powered by our proprietary NN6 software platform, we deliver operational excellence through real time portfolio management that other factoring companies simply can’t match.
